Edward James HANNAWAY
Edward was an Ordinary Telegraphist on board the H.M.S. Hood. He died on the 24th May 1941 after the Hood was sunk by the German battleship Bismark in the Denmark Straits.


James Love HADDOW
James was a Pilot Officer (Air Bomber) and is 2nd on the right. He is one of this group of five that flew a Wellington bomber.
James is 2nd from the right in the bottom picture. This group of 7 men (5 that also flew the wellington +2).James plane came down in the Baltic Sea, near Leba in Poland.He is buried in the Malbrock War Cemetery in Ploand.

Richard Reid
Killed in World War 1 training exercise age 19. Because his death did not occur on active service it was recorded on a normal death certificate.
